Living Life Thru Ally...

Boxing Tournament Weekend...what used to be SAE Boxing Tournament...Judson and I sure are loving life living vicariously through Ally this weekend! Hayden went up to Knoxville this weekend. I am sure Ally is being a great Sister in Law:-)

Wait-no fair-Amy Folk snuck up to Knoxville for the weekend...Cute picture girls! 

Ally really made her Dad's day when she sent him this picture of her wearing his boxing tournament t-shirt from 1990. Even though she took the scissors to it and made it a "choker" tee!

Missing My Ally

Ally's room does NOT miss her...it has NEVER been so clean! I, on the other hand, do! 

We all laid in our bed this morning like we used to when the kids were babies. We were really missing Ally then. So, we face timed her...technology is so cool. 

Kentucky Kitty Kats?

Ally attended the Volunteers basketball game verses Kentucky tonight at Thompson Boling Arena. She kept us updated via Snapchat. We were cheering her on from home. 

What do you know? The VOLS beat KENTUCKY! WOW! She said it was a great game and TBA was louder than ever. 

Surprise Visit!!!

WOW!!! Jud and I were at the Country Club for dinner last night. We looked up from our table and there stood Ally!!! She came home from UT for her Fall break Thursday and Friday. We were so thrilled! We called the rest of the family and made up some silly reason they needed to come to the club. They showed up and were just as surprised as we were...they joined us for drinks/dinner/dessert.

When we got home, the girls were in Ally's room just talking like they used to...boy have I missed this/her! But boy have my prayers been answered...she loves college, loves Knoxville, loves UT football, loves AOPi, loves her new friends! That is all an answer to this Mom's summer long prayers! 

Counting all of my blessings tonight over and over. Life is Good! God is GREAT!

Big Sis

So, I have resorted to stealing pictures from Ally's Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. I just can't stand not having pictures of the kids. I have always taken hundreds of pictures at their events so for me to give up my camera is hard. 

Ally got her Big Sister, Emily Foor, from Huntsville and her Grand Big Sister, Sonja Lipman, from Memphis. They all look like sisters! Of course Ally loved the jersey theme. 

Look how HUGE their pledge class is...I cannot imagine. Ours was half that size when I was in college. WOW! 

Graduation Week

What better way to kickoff "Graduation Week" than at church. What a special service we had today for the graduates. The meal afterwards was unbelievable and so well planned. 

How lucky is Ally to have all four of her grandparents here for her graduation?! What a blessing they have been in my kids lives...all four of them, each in their own special way!

Seems like yesterday she was in preschool here playing on the playground. 

Thankful for my church family today and their hard work to make today so special. The Kleenex came in handy today. I'm afraid reality is here. Such a time of mixed emotions.
