OSCAR NIGHT at TRA

Tonight was Oscar night at TRA for Abby...one more thing on the checklist to make her that much closer to Graduation. She looked stunning. I know she is mine and I might be a little biased, but WOW. Where is my little blue eyed, messy eating, pink blankey, pink baby carrying, eye mask wearing little princess? What happened to the years? I guess we did something right, because man, she is simply amazing! 

Not only is Abby gorgeous, how about her handsome date Hayden? He was dressed to a "t"! They really do make a good looking couple.

Sweet friend award goes to Ashlynn Henshaw! Abby and her have really enjoyed their friendship and double dating with the "Glass boys"! 

 So, you know, you don't always get what you deserve in life. You win some and you lose some. Even though I felt like Abby had worked HARD, served her school well, been a wonderful leader and participated in so many activities, I prepared myself for disappointment. It is so hard coming one year behind her sister Ally-always has been. Judson and I were so excited for her when we found out she won Miss Tipton Rosemark Academy! She got what she deserved...all those years of going that extra mile paid off! Oh, the "wittiest" was an added bonus, too!

Hayden is such a good sport! 

The junior parents outdid themselves. Everything was just perfect - from the M.C.s, to the popcorn bar, to the table decorations, etc. THANK you to the Moms that went above and beyond. It was so nice. I appreciate you! 

Of course, Judson and I shed a few tears at the end of the program when they dedicated it to Lauren. It is still so hard to believe. Such a beautiful girl SO FULL of life. We love and miss you Lauren! 

Homecoming Dance

TRA had a Homecoming Dance this year. Abby and her friends decided to go with girls and no boyfriends this year. I do love it when she makes time to do things with girlfriends. That is one thing I regret from high school/college/after...I have never made time for myself and girlfriends. It is nobody's fault but my own. I think it is important. 

How beautiful do they all look? Abby got my Mom's hairstyling talent. She is SO GOOD at styling hair. I can barely dry my hair. She can do anything with her hair.

Oscar Night at TRA

Abby was in charge of Oscar night this year. She did an outstanding job by the way. 

Ally was in charge last year and set the bar pretty high. I hate that the girls are so close together and everything they do gets compared and contrasted. Fortunately, they are both pretty good girls and they work hard and make their parents proud! 

I went to school on Friday and helped Abby set up. I was honored that she asked me to help.

I was so proud of these two.  They have been together since the beginning. Ally has worked her tail off for TRA for many years. Anything she has been in charge of she has done 110%. My kids aren't perfect but they are hard workers and they take pride in things they are in charge of. You don't always get the recognition that you deserve, but this time she did. I am SO proud of you Ally! Keep up the hard work in college.

We love you Lauren Moody!

Today was an unbelievably hard day for my girls and the rest of the family. We had to bury a good friend and teammate. Cancer is evil. It does not discriminate. God be with Dana, Joey, JT and Matt.
