Proud Dad

Judson with the "Girls", Abby, Grace and Anna Claire before the Valentine's Dance

How amazing is this hair? I don't think I could EVER have hair that beautiful! Abby really does a great job with her hair! She didn't get those skills from me...

Sisters...Ally was so proud of her sister...

Anna Claire, Abby & Grace
Joze was the only thing missing!

How short do I look?

Unbelievable...I love the fact that my girls are proud and confident with their height.

The Man Himself...Rockin' Robin' Knowles...the BEST DJ around! He really knows how to get a party started and how to keep it rolling! He is well worth the money. Thanks Robin for taking such good care of us at all of our parties!

Valentine's Dance

Beautiful Babes

WOW! I was so very proud of my girls at the dance! They are so beautiful inside and out. They couldn't be ANY prettier or ANY sweeter and I couldn't be ANY prouder. (I know that's not proper grammar.) I always love preparing for a dance with the two of them. They are usually SO different in their opinions but the older they get, the more alike they become. This year they both wanted a "purple" dress. I think they both did a great job with their final choices. The pictures below are some of the dresses that we tried on and didn't make the final cut. Yes, we usually buy  about 5 or 6 dresses, bring them home, try them on a dozen times, and then decide what Mom gets to return...the things you do for your kids!

After we went dress shopping, we had to go "hairstyle shopping". This is what they came up with and I think they were both simply stunning!

As usual, I called in a "911" to my sister that day. We were running behind schedule getting their hair done (imagine that), and I knew at that point we I would never make it. I should have thought about how nearly impossible it would be to simultaneously makeover your daughters that are only a year apart. Thank goodness for my Sis! She was a lifesaver. We have done this before (911 calls to her) at Homecoming so she just came in and went to work! She took Ally of course and I took Abby!

How proud does Judson look in this picture? I love it!

Judson is almost as proud as Jidi and Sittie!

The "7th grade boys"...they were thrilled to have their picture taken as you can tell!

PROUD BROTHER, Oney!

I  missed out taking "action shots" at the dance. Angel insisted on me not coming to help this time, so I didn't go. The kids made my night when I picked them up from the dance. They said, "Where were you all night, Mom"? I said, I left so you could have this dance without me being there. They both said, "But Momma, we LOVE having you there! We like it when you chaperone. You aren't like some of the other Moms"!

Rockin' Into Fall with Student Council Dance

The girls did an EXCELLENT job planning their first school dance! Ally is the President and Abby is the Secretary and they both worked really hard to make this dance come off without a snag! In the past, the school has not had a very good D.J. which has led to a not so exciting dance. Well, I charged my girls to stand out on a limb and go all out for this one. They really wanted the D.J. that did Ally's 13th birthday party last year, Rockin' Robin's DJs. We (me, Ally and Abby) convinced the sponsors to allow us to book them. Judson and I agreed that if for some reason the Student Council didn't raise enough money, we would cover anything to keep them from going in the hole. And then...the "campaigning"began. The students are supposed to buy their tickets in advance at school. Ally and Abby went on a mission to get everyone to buy a ticket, and I do mean everyone! The school sold around 40 tickets at the last dance and they ended up selling around 120 this year!!! That just shows what you can do when you put your mind to it. Well, not only was the dance a financial success, it was according to the students, "THE BEST DANCE EVER"! Judson and I were proud parents to say the least. I am sharing some different pictures from the night. Enjoy!

Good friends!

Fun and games!
