Happy New Year's Day...Lucky Lunch!
As Townsend Tradition goes, we have our lucky "peas" lunch on New Year's Day. Typically, we are all together at the Lake. This year my family stayed in Covington. So, I had to put my big girl panties on and cook the traditional meal.
We had boston butt (PORK) cooked on the BGE all night, roasted garlic POTATOES, black eyed PEAS, PAPAS bbq sauce, PECAN pie...boy did I miss my Momma today!
Signs of a perfect meal??? Judson passed out on the couch snoring like a freight train.

HAPPY New Year!
This New Year's Eve was different from any other. Several factors played into us having a low key night at home in Covington. We invited a handful of couples over to the house last minute to watch football and just relax. It was a PERFECT night.
I stole this photo from Kate's instagram page. We actually played a game (can't remember the name) that was a LOT of fun! Abby had several of her friends over and I got to feed them (I LOVE having the kids friends over)! What more can you ask for?
We couldn't ring in the New Year without a bottle of champagne?
The last dish was done and these two were debating on who was taking out the trash! Good night!
