WHAT A SURPRISE HONOR Abby was awarded today by her school. If you remember, Ally got to place a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown soldier last year in Washington DC. She was selected because of her outstanding leadership skills in middle school.
Well, the only problem this year is,Abby is Ally's sister and she is only a year behind her in school. There was no way the school could pick Abby EVEN THOUGH SHE DESERVED IT (if possible) as much or more than Ally.
So, the school told the kids they didn't get to do the wreath ceremony this year. As a part of their preparation for their trip, they were asked to write an "ANONYMOUS" essay on what Arlington National Cemetery and the Wreath laying meant to them.
Well guess what...it was an essay contest to see who would get to place the wreath....
ABBY WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

CAN YOU SEE HOW PROUD HER MOMMA IS OF HER??????????????????????????? ???
Yes, Abby will be laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown on April 30th at 6:15pm!!!!!!!!
I'M SO PROUD OF BOTH OF MY GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!! (AND YOU TOO ONEY)
This honor is very special to my family. To think, the girls' great grandfathers were both immigrants. They came to this country with nothing but the American Dream. Boy, would they be PROUD!
