Aunt Jan is at the Lake

We LOVE it when Rosie comes to play! I found these shirts at one of our favorite shops at Pickwick and I decided to treat everyone! We missed Sittie on the Lake today-she wasn't feeling well.

Fathers Day

Happy Father's Day to the Naifeh men! Pop didn't make it out on the Lake today, so I didn't get a picture with him. We always spend Father's Day with the Naifeh side. It is the one weekend each Summer that we can count on Aunt Jan coming in from Nashville and Sandra and Joe coming up. 

I love this pic of Oney and Jud. I have taken this same one about a thousand times. It is one of their favorite things to do together-drive the boat! They have been doing it since Oney was a baby! Oney has become quite the Captain!

Awesome Story

WHAT A REALLY NEAT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! 

The pieces of conversation below are between me and a customer that is currently deployed on an aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf. He called and asked if he could order a cake for his wife's birthday. Of course, we were delighted to do so...we added a few extra touches and delivered it for him on her birthday! Needless to say, she was thrilled and in turn he was too! We just felt good about being able to help him out a little bit and being able to make his family smile while he was away. It was a BLESSING for US to be able to do something for them. Look at the awesome thank you he emailed me back...from the middle of the Persian Gulf!!! 

Take time out of your busy day to go out of your way for someone. It WILL make a difference in YOUR day as well as theirs!

It's official now. We have made our routine trip to the lake and stopped along the way to buy fresh strawberries. I love Summer!

Judson's new purchase! We are ALL so excited to get it so that we can do some maintenance on the farm. Who doesn't LOVE a little green tractor anyway? The is a little bit of a farmer in all of us!
