What was supposed to be a casual afternoon of shooting at Ms. Judy's (our neighbors) pond, turned into a good 'ole Goose slaughtering! The pond behind our house has had a huge family of Canadian Geese all Summer. They are beautiful birds to watch but they can really make a huge mess! That being said, we got Ms. Judy's permission and blessing to hunt the geese last Sunday night. I am not sure of the exact number, but I think we did pretty darn good! Two of the geese were banded which was really cool! Addey, Carson and Oney retrieved the geese that fell in the pond and loved every minute of it.

After the hunt, we had bar-b-q at Breck and Stephanie's house. It was a fun way to spend one night of our Labor Day Weekend. Stephanie is great hostess!
