Dancing WithThe Stars...Davanzo Style

Judson and I attended the Carl Perkins Exchange Club annual fundraiser on Saturday night. I am ashamed to say that we have never attended this function. I am proud to say that I will definitely go again. They did a SUPERB job and made me so proud of my hometown. I was caught off guard during the dance competitions and boy was I embarrassed! Morgan and Chris were in the middle of their routine and Chris jumped out into the audience and suggested I do a little impromptu dance with him...boy did he ever push me out of my comfort zone! All of the dancers did such a great job...Bo and Kathleen did an awesome job too! The link below is a video of Morgan and Chris's dance.

Boaters Safety License...Check!

If at first you don't succeed, try try again! Oney and I have been to the library everyday this week to take the boater's safety course. Today...we hit the jackpot! He PASSED! That is a VERY difficult test. It has 60 total questions and you have to answer 48 correctly to pass. He made a "48"! We took it and ran! Now we have three legal drivers on the lake. CRAZY?!

As soon as we got in the car, he started calling his family to tell them the great news. He was SO PROUD of himself. He was determined to get it done this week.

When we got home, he had a UPS package waiting on him. It was his new life jacket with the kill switch loop on it. He was PUMPED and ready to go to the lake.

Anna Laura and Her Kiddos

Anna Laura made a quick, unplanned visit home this week. I was finally able to have a lunch date with her and catch up with some good quality adult time. I am so proud of her. She is such a good wife and momma! She looks amazing!

We had dinner at the CCC Wednesday night and ran into her there, too. It seems like yesterday that she was taking care of these "babies"! Boy, time flies!

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter sunrise! It was a PERFECT Easter this year! We had our first real dinner party in our new lake house. Judson and I are looking forward to many many more! I am however, ready to finish all of my projects at the new house so that I can enjoy this view from my porch.

What are the holidays without some cousin lovin'?! We all have childhood memories of spending the holidays with our cousins. I love how mine and Judson's families have meshed so well. It sure makes the holidays easier.
Me and my twin...she is so much like me it is scary sometimes!
My partner for life. I knew if I didn't snap a picture or two then I would never see myself in a pic.
The young adult table-deep in conversation.
The teens-doing who knows what!
My how our Easter bunny visits have changed....we've gone from an overflowing basket of bubbles, huge bunnies, eggs, peeps, water guns, etc to...Vineyard Vines treats, mini Dinstuhl's chocolate bunnies, and CASH.
MY table as I was getting in bed at midnight Saturday night. Boy, Moms sure do work hard everyday of their life.  The are responsible for making so many things in life happen....THANKFUL for all the Moms in the world!
Jud and Britt being silly after our fish fry at Das's Saturday night. Yummy!
I think Max has outgrown the egg dying!
My kids try to outgrow it every year but I still set it all up and they always end up flattering me and having fun at the same time!

Britt, Ally and Oney getting creative with their colors.

Me and Oney riding on the boat together on Saturday. He is starting to outgrow our hugs and kisses and I do not like it one bit.

Prom....NOT to be Confused with "THE Prom"

I am constantly reminded by my sweet girls that PROM is no longer referred to as "THE Prom"! TRAs junior senior prom is always the Thursday before Good Friday. It is kind of nice that way. The girls both went with friends. We had a "photo shoot" at the pond at Lochmeade before they hit the road to downtown Memphis. Even though I wasn't dressed for pictures (I had been running doing PROM prep all day) I wanted my picture taken with my girls. They looked AMAZING! Simply STUNNING! They just get prettier every year...sorry...I may be a little biased!

I adore this picture of the girls with their friends Preston Trainer. I think it is a very natural, fun pic! Look at all these beautiful ladies. WOW!

Ally and her date Jordan Carpenter

Abby and her date Shane O'Brien
All of the couples together. They are all such great kids!

A little brotherly and sisterly LOVE ❤️!

Sittie and Jidi had to get their picture made with the girls. Sittie was kind enough to take Abby shopping for her dress! Ally and I bought her dress in Vegas when we went to the ACMs!

Getting beautified at home...

SISTERS...SO SO lucky to have each other. Someday I hope they realize this...Somedays I wonder if having them so close together was the "right thing to do"...Somedays I KNOW it was a perfect plan!

My personal FAVORITE! I am so proud of them. They are so smart, beautiful, talented, and full of life! I can't believe that they are old enough to be going to "PROM"!
